“My children and I were very happy with the apartment from the start. Everything looked great and we had all we need and much more. We would spend the day hiking and exploring the local area and would come back very tired and it was the perfect place to relax. “We thought the bed needed to be replaced. It wasn't particularly comfortable and seemed somewhat old fashioned. It wasn't in keeping with the rest of the apartment...” - we asked for further information but didn’t receive anything. Mattress is 4 months old so maybe a little firm - old fashioned is maybe personal perception

The extra touches such as milk and top quality biscuits on arrival were a lovely surprise and with all of the condiments provided for guests to use also the range of things to keep children entertained should the weather not be good was great. The courtesy call to ensure you had settled in was something I have never experienced in an apartment I have stayed in previously and made you feel special !”

“We decided some years ago, inspired by the TV series Coast, to tour our UK coastline, staying in different locations, so we may not be back for a while. Perhaps we should make 42 Crescent Avenue an exception to the rule !”
“A great deal of thought and hard work has gone into the apartment planning and interior design. Furniture, fabrics, fixtures and fittings all compliment each other beautifully and it was a pleasure staying in such a lovely place. We did not use the central heating as there was sufficient warmth coming up from below the apartment floor (free heat!?). The only exception was the bathroom, which was a little chilly at night. Perhaps the radiators here could be isolated somehow so that they can be on a thermostat...” - this can be done, I’ve explained how to do it should the guests say again !
“The cooker extraction hood (glass) was rather low., admittedly we are both 5' 11" but I banged my head a couple of times looking in to boiling pans...” - it’s standard height but I must admit I’ve done the same !!
“Plunger coffee pot would be much better than the drip filter machine, takes up too much bench space.” - There is lots of worktop space and previous guests actually asked for and like the filter coffee machine, we’ll see if anyone else comments but feel this was just a personal preference

“We were upset on arrival to not be able to find the parking scratchcards” - this was an oversignt by the cleaner who went in and rectified this as soon as I was informed, The guests did still have the car park permit.

“My partner thought the bed was slightly uncomfortable as a little hard, however you can't please veryone ! I didn’t have an issue with it.” - brand new mattresses in all apartments in 2016, medium firmness, hotel quality. Such a personal preference it’s hard to get it perfect for everyone but we do try !

“A little disappointed there were no tea bags when we arrived but it wasn't a major issue and Chris did offer to bring us some but it wasn't a problem...” - a new cleaner oversight, we did offer to provide some quickly but the customer had already sorted it out
